Fusing parameter
Temperature setting
Normally the recommendations of the interlining manufacturers
should be followed and adapted to the specific fabrics. For safe
fusing sufficient temperature in the glue line is important,
whereas for protection of delicate fabric surfaces a minimum
temperature on the belt surface is required. When setting of
temperature and fusing time (i.e. belt speed) it should be noted,
that the temperature in the glue line depends on the weight of
the articles, which can vary.
The heating system of the Fuse Master BX
The heating surface consists of a series of metal profiles that
form a curved panel. Heating circuits are laminated directly onto
the inside of the contact surface of each heating profile.
The sensors of the thermostats are positioned in the heating
profiles close to the heating mat and the profile surface: This
integration guarantees even heat across the entire heating
surface as well as quick response and accurate control.
Setting of fusing time
The longer the dwell time or the shorter the belt speed, the
better the glue line temperature is compatible with the machine
temperature. This means, that you need less temperature to
achieve good bond strength.
