Safety instructions for all models
If the fan heater is incorrectly installed and/or used, it may give rise to danger.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa
-
bilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Caution!
• Incorrect installation may cause personal injury.
• Do not use this fan heater in the immediate vicinity of a shower, bathtub or swimming pool.
• When the fan heater is in operation, some of its surfaces are hot.
• The fan heater must not be covered, since this may cause overheating and involve the risk of fire (see also Figure A).
• The fan heater must not be located immediately below or in front of a power socket.
• The plug/CEE connector must be readily accessible.
• Place the fan heater so that any combustible material in the vicinity will not be ignited.
• When work is done on the fan heater or when electrical work is done, the power supply to the fan heater must al

ways be isolated.
• Work on the heater, such as removing the cover, etc., may be done only by authorized personnel.
• If the power supply cable of the fan heater is damaged, it may be changed only by authorized personnel.
• When the cover is being fitted, tighten the screws 2 ½ turns after the screw gasket has been nipped, in order to
maintain the IP classification of the fan heater.
Important!
When using heater as a portable, the brackets on the heater
should be swung out of the way and the bracket holder removed
as per instructions on page 7.
