9. On AW-a, the supplied valve (accessory for AW-s) must be mounted on the upper pipe (outlet), to achieve the
lowest possible temperature on the valve, as shown in figure 16. The valve must be mounted horizontally irrespec-
tive of the direction of flow.
The connection to the actuator must point straight up to preserve the actuator’s IP rating.
Tighten the valve’s compression fittings by hand, and then tighten one additional turn. Then loosen the nut ¼
turn in order to relieve any tension in the fitting. Tighten the nut again to seal the fitting.
For further information on the valve, refer to the installation instructions supplied with the valve.
