disconnect the ISDN output in order to
carry out an alarm call nevertheless
(sabotage switching).
In addition, the
VICO

can instigate dis-
connection of the occupied B channels.
This is in accordance with the approval
(blockage switching).
The figure shows the locations of the
ISDN sockets :
Audio interfaces (optional)
The optional audio board is accommo-
dated underneath the screening cover.
Adhesive labels on the cover indicate
whether the audio board is installed.
The following terminals are available
on block 6 if the audio board is fitted:
A separate microphone and loud-
speaker, as well as a telephone hand-
set with mouthpiece and earphone can
be connected to the
VICO VICO VICO VICO
. However,
only one input and one output can be
active at a time.
On channel 1 (Microphone 1) a tele-
phone handset with 5 V DC supply
voltage can be connected, on channel 2
a microphone with an appropriate am-
plifier or a line in signal source (CD-
Player).
The minimum input impedance is
15 kOhm. The gain at the input can be
selected between 0 dB and 40 dB. The
following table shows the resulting in-
put sensitivities at the gain limits.
The minimum output impedance is dif-
ferent for the two outputs and also
listed in the table. To enable adapta-
tion, the gain of the output can be set
between 2.5 dB and -20 dB.
