Connect the Protective Earth Terminal D on the RF
Distribution Module to the building Protective Earth System
if required.
Check the resi-linx IR Modulator is connected to the
Modulator MOD RF IN input E on the RF Distribution
Module.
From the wall socket, connect a coaxial fly lead to the
System Input on the IR Target.
From the TV output on the IR Target, connect a coaxial fly
lead to the TV.
Steps 1.62 & 1.63 can be repeated for up to 8 TV outputs
around the premises. NOTE: If an IR Target is not used,
an in-line DC block should be used.
Connect IR emitters (RL-IR700/800) to the outputs on the
rear of the IR Modulator. Place the emitter head 10mm to
either side of the IR receiver of the AV source (depending
on environmental conditions).
If required, connect either Single or Double IR Emitter (RL-
IR700/800) to the IR Emitter Port H for local control of
AV source.
