6 Interface definition
6.1
Electrical connection
The electrical data for the machine is shown on the rating plate, which is located on the back of the
machine.
Also refer to the information contained under ”Technical data“ and the circuit diagrams in the section on
“Diagrams”.
DANGER
The machine may only be connected to the mains by a qualified expert (electrician), complying
with local regulations! The procedure for electrical installation is described in the section on the
“Installation of the machine”.
6.2
Inert gas connection
Only in the K6N machines
The owner must ensure that there is an inert gas
supply available.
The inert gas is fed via a hose from the pressure
reducer unit (2) on the gas cylinder (1) to the inert
gas valve (3) in the machine.
The procedure for connecting the inert gas line on
the machine is described under “Inert gas installation”
in the section on ”Installation of the machine“.

IMPORTANT
If there is no gas cylinder connected in the K6N machine, set the “Inert gas” parameter in the
service program to OFF (0). Otherwise, air can leak into the packaging bag! For more
information read the sub -section on the “Service program” in the section on “Programming”.
Inert gas quality
For more information on this read “Processing materials” in the section on “Safety”. This contains
information on the permissible types of inert gas.
DANGER
Only use a different inert gas with the prior consent of the machine manufacturer. Explosive
gases or a gas which may be harmful to the operator if inhaled are prohibited, in particular.
