Maintenance

(Keep your Vax as good as new)

Belt or brush removal and replacement

(Phillips screwdriver required)

The plug must be removed from socket outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.

Switch off the mains
power and unplug
carpet washer.
Remove the water
tank.

Flip the cleaner on it’s
side to expose the
nozzle base.

Grasp brush roll with
one hand, using the
other hand to keep
tension on the belt
while removing.

To remove the belt
cover, use a phillips
screwdriver to remove
the two screws.

Lift up while your pulling
it out.

Grasp the belt cover
near the belt roll and
lift out.

Slide the belt off the
motor shaft and
dispose.
