• Pins are compatible with conventional servo plugs
• LED modules will only work if polarity is correct but will not be dama -
ged if plugged in with reverse polarity for a short time.
• To add additional LED modules, use “Y”-cable Ord.No. 20/460.
• Caution: Do not exceed the current carrying capacity of the
light controller (3 Amp Maximum).
• Caution: Controller will generate heat during operation proportional to
the number of lights (current draw). Therefore, if there are more than 9
LED modules (2.5A total load), provide additional air cooling of the light
controller by means of a small fan.
• After installation of the lighting system, please complete a “Range
Check” of the RC model with the lighting system turned “On”
ProgrAMMIng
Programming is carried out using the small control dial (potentiometer)
on the top right side of the lighting controller. The lighting controller re -
cognises 3 dial positions or modes. We recommend using a small flat head
screw driver. caution! – excessive force will damage the potentiometer!
The three mode positions are:
Position 1 – Learning mode: Control dial is rotated full left / anti-clockwise
Position 2 – normal operation: Control dial is at mid position
Position 3 – reset: Control dial is rotated full right / clockwise
StEP 1
Prepare your transmitter
The controller will learn signals from your transmitter during the set-up
procedure. We recommend using a 3-position switch assigned to a spare
channel. NOTE: Depending on your transmitter, you may need to reverse
the channel.
StEP 2
Learning switch/channel positions to the light controller
Note: During the set-up procedure, the light controller measures the LED
battery voltage and sets a safe lower voltage limit (75% of the measured
voltage or 3.15V per cell for LiPo batteries). Ensure the battery you intend
to use to power the light controller is fully charged.
IMPortAnt: During the learning procedure you must move the transmit -
ter switch immediately to the next position as soon as the correct number
of flashes has passed; don‘t lose to much time! If you make a mistake,
please refer to ‘resetting the controller’ and carry out step 2 again.
