The reset mode will return the light controller back to factory defaults.
Flash patterns, stored switch positions and battery cut-off voltage will be
reset. Use this mode if you accidentally store incorrect settings during the
learning procedure.
To reset the light controller:
1. Set the control dial to position 3 turning clockwise until it stops.
2. Connect the light controller power.
3. Connect the receiver power.
4. The lighting controller will flash 1x to indicate it has reset.
5. Disconnect or switch off the receiver power and move the control dial
to position 1 .
The controller is now ready for you to begin the learning procedure again.
Refer to StEP 2. Learning switch/channel positions to the light controller.
Note: After the controller has reset and still in position 3, the LEDs will emit
a test pattern or sustained output. This is normal.
norMAL oPErAtIon
• During normal operation, the lighting control system provides the ligh -
ting patterns for Position (Navigation), ACL (Strobe), and Landing Lights.
• If you have not gone through the learning mode, the pre-set values are
at positions corresponding to a 3-position switch.
• The light controller constantly monitors the voltage level of the LED bat -
tery. If this value drops below the stored cut-off voltage (6.3V by default
- safe for a 2S LiPo battery), the power supply goes into standby mode and
the LEDs are turned off.
• The light controller will go into standby mode if left on for more than 30
minutes without LEDs lit. The status LED flashes every two seconds.
• Please make sure to disconnect the LED battery from the light control
after operation.
