it is advisable to stop the cleaning process. Empty the dirt collected from the surface into a suitably sized container or other
storage space (e.g. a passenger car trailer, etc.).
Always follow local regulations on waste disposal. Dirt from the surfaces does not belong to the communal waste, but to
places designated by a local government as the hazardous waste disposal site.
3. When sweeping dirt without the use of a collector ensure that the cylinder sweeping brushes are turned to the side (see Chapter
Fig. 9
). Select the position according to which side you want to push the dirt. For a small amount of dirt select the
first turning angle position to the side of -
15°L
or
15°R
. For a larger amount of dirt, always select the extreme position -
30°L
or
30°R
.
4. When the collector is used during sweeping in open areas use the middle position of the cylinder sweeping brushes –
0°
(see
Fig.
), in that way you will make use of the maximum operating width of the machine. When the collector
is used during sweeping close to walls use the first turning angle position of the cylinder sweeping brushes -
15°L
or
15°R
.
Stop
cleaning the area when:
a) the surface behind the cylinder sweeping brushes is not entirely clear, or
b) the cylinder sweeping brushes start tossing the dirt into space behind the cylinder sweeping brushes, or
c) leave a track in the space beneath the gearbox.
In such cases it is always necessary to empty the contents of the collector (see handling the collector in Chapter
).
5. When sweeping dirt from curbs set the center position of the cylinder sweeping brushes -
0°
(see Chapter
and increase the pressure on the bristles by removing another spacer of the support wheel. Given the assumption of a large
amount of dirt do not work in too long stretches, interrupt the cleaning regularly when:
a) the cylinder sweeping brushes start tossing the dirt into space behind the cylinder sweeping brushes, or
b) leave a track in the space beneath the gearbox.
2.4.7.2 Snow removal
The sweeping brush is designed for removal of only new fallen snow during/after “normal” snowfall excluding a
snowstorm falling into the category of a disaster event, or cleaning surfaces with melting snow. The type of bristle used
does not allow cleaning of trampled-down, icy or frozen snow.
It is recommended that snow removal is always carried out with the use of the dozer blade
OR-80
, which allows cleaning a
layer of freshly fallen snow up to 10 cm.
2.6.3 Recommendations for winter operation of the machine
1. Select a
faster
travel speed

) for better dynamics of the snow removal to the side using the
blade and for better cleaned surface.
2. Set the pressure of the bristles according to Chapter
3. When sweeping snow the cylinder sweeping brushes must be always turned to the side (see Chapter
Fig.
). Select
the position according to which side you want to push the snow. For a small amount of snow select the first turning angle position
to the side of -
15°L
or
15°R
. For larger amounts of snow always select the extreme position -
30°L
or
30°R.
When using the
OR-80
dozer blade always use the extreme position -
30°L
or
30°R
, the snow slides better along the blade to the side.
4. Proceed on a cleaned surface always in strips. In case of snow accumulating in large quantities and:
a) the cylinder sweeping brushes start tossing the snow into the space behind the cylinder sweeping brushes, or
b) the surface behind the cylinder sweeping brushes is not entirely clear
do not carry on with the cleaning of the surface. Remove the snow from the surface by usual method onto a suitable place.
2.5 Accessories
The accessories are to be connected always with the engine switched off!
Separate accessories are available as optional extra and are not part of the basic equipment of the machine!

). Tighten the
nuts

well.
3)
Slide the ends of the rods into the feet of the collector frame

Applies to the two-speed version of the machine.
67
While removing the snow a certain amount of it can get on the cleaned surface through the space behind the sweeping rollers. This is quite normal and does not give a reason to
claim a malfunction of the machine.
