MACHINE STOPPING:
•
Release the lower lever on the right handle, the machine will stop.

An exception is the carrier set with the Sulka, thanks to the higher total weight of the set, unexpected driving movement can
occur on sloping surfaces. Therefore, always secure the assembly against its movement by pressing the service foot brake of
the Sulka.

The service / parking brake is operated by the lever at the bottom of the left handle – Fig. 4 C .
•
The service brake serves for decreasing the machine travel speed on a sloped terrain for a short while.
SERVICE BRAKE USAGE:
•
Press the lever against the handle, if you wish to brake the machine, e.g. when moving downhill.

Keep in mind that the wheel drive is usually not disconnected from the engine when mowing, and the brake will not allow the
machine to come to a complete stop. This is only possible when the travel is switched off (see
3.3.3.4 Wheel Drive Lever )
The parking is used to secure the machine against its unintentional movement when parked, e.g. on slopes.

You can use the parking brake when transporting the machine as an additional

means to prevent the machine from moving
in the load compartment.
PARKING BRAKE:
•
First, release the wheel drive lever to stop the machine.
•
Press lever 1 all the way to the handle. Move the index finger of the left hand to lock the lever with red latch 2 . Release lever 1 ,
the machine is braked.
PARKING BRAKE RELEASE:
•
Press lever 1 all the way to the handle, locking catch 2 will pop up automatically.
•
Release the lever.

EAR SELECTOR LEVER

Shift all the gears only with the travel clutch disengaged, never while driving!

Before starting reversing, especially when leading the machine on foot, make sure that there is enough space
behind you to safely manoeuvre the machine, and that the surface is free of bumps that would adversely affect
your stability.

The speeds are selected by a shift lever at the rear of the machine, located between the handlebar holder tubes – Fig. 4 D .
•
The selected gear is indicated by an arrow on the shift lever, which points to the gear number on the transmission cover.
•
The gears are arranged one after the other from gear 1 to gear 4. , Neutral is located between gear 1 and reverse gear – R .

NSTRUCTIONS

Before any use of the machine, check the tightening of its screws securing the blades in the upper disc and also
the screws securing the lower disc to the flange.

First of all, thoroughly read the engine operating

instructions! This way, you will avoid its potential damage.
3.4.1 E
NGINE

TARTING

Check the engine oil level or fill the engine with the specified type and amount of oil. Fill the tank with the
prescribed amount and type of fuel.

When starting the engine, both control levers Fig. 4 A and Fig. 4 B in the off position (they must not be pressed
against the handles)!

Do not forget to open the fuel supply, please.
1) Move the accelerator lever per Fig. 3 to position 4 CHOKE .

Start an already warm engine with the accelerator lever in its position
3 MAX.
2) Start the engine

3) Let a new or cold engine run for about 15 seconds with the choke engaged (accelerator lever in its 4 CHOKE position ), then
move the accelerator lever to 3 MAX .
4) If the motor is cold, leave it at the maximum speed for approx. 1 minute to warm up.

Do not leave the machine unattended!

Engaging the service brake never replaces other fixation means (e.g. binding straps, ropes, etc.).
