Lens Barrel Assembly Replacement
Parts:
21.9667.0306 1 EA ASSY, LENS BARREL VL2201
21.9673.0306 1 EA ASSY, LENS BARREL VL2202
Tools:
Screwdriver, #2 Phillips
Wrench, open-ended, 1/4"
To remove and replace lens barrel assembly:
Step 1. Disconnect luminaire AC input cable from power source.
Step 2. At head cover, turn two captive screws one-quarter turn and remove cover. (It
will remain attached by tether.) Figure 2-8 .
Step 3. Remove front nose cover by removing two 10-32
×
1/2" PPB screws (one on
each side). Figure 2-8 .
Step 4. Cut cable ties which secure zoom optics motor wires to front assembly.
(Zoom optics motor is smaller of two linear actuator motors.)
Step 5. At lens barrel assembly, use pliers to hold standoff on edge motor shaft, and
using 1/4" open-ended wrench, remove 4-40 SS KEPS nut from end of motor
shaft.

Step 6. Disconnect zoom optics motor wire connector from junction connector.
