Low Battery - Hand-Held Remote Control
When batteries in hand-held remote control
are low, an icon will appear on display.
Low Battery - Remote Receiver
When batteries in receiver are low, no acoustic
signal will be given when ON/OFF button is
pressed. If batteries in receiver are low, fireplace
can be switched on manually by moving remote
selector switch to ON (see Figure 33).

FAHRENHEIT/CELSIUS INDICATOR
You can set your hand-held remote control to
display the temperature in either Fahrenheit
or Celsius. With remote control off, press
THERMOSTAT button and MODE button at
the same time. This will toggle the display
from °F to °C.

OPERATING REMOTE CONTROL
WARNING: Fireplace can
turn on suddenly. Keep away
from burner.
After lighting pilot, let pilot flame burn for about
one minute. Slide remote selector switch to
REMOTE position. You can now turn burner
on and off with remote.
IMPORTANT
: Do not leave selector switch in
REMOTE or ON position when pilot is not lit.
This will drain batteries.
When any button is pushed on remote control,
LCD display will glow blue. Blue glow will go
off after several seconds if no action is being
taken with remote.
ON/OFF
Push ON/OFF button and burners will come
on in high position (see Figure 35). An
acoustic signal from the receiver confirms
the command.
Push ON/OFF button again and burners will
turn off.
A beep from receiver confirms the
command.
