CI A Common Interface Slot 1

Your receiver is equipped with 2 Common Interface Slots. In this Slots you can use every standard Common
interface module : Irdeto, Viaccess, Cryptoworks, Conax und Mediaguard.
To watch scrambled channels you will need a common interface modul and a descrambling card that must
match system wise.
Your card ( provided by TV provider ) must be slide in your common interface module. The Common Interface
module must be positioned in on of the 2 CI slots.
You can access internal menus of your CIs via menu Conditional Access . Documentations about your card
or module will be provided by your pay tv provider.
Beside CI slots your receiver is equipped with two card readers for smart cards.
The card readers support the following encryption systems:
dgcrypt,
conax,
firecrypt,
xcrypt,
crypton
You can access internal menus of your smart cards via menu Conditional Access . Documentations about
your cards will be provided by your pay tv provider.
Note: Informations about Common Interface Modules and smart cards will be provides by the provider who
offers those only.
