6. Install the fir tree style harness clip (

) into the ECM

shield hole by pressing the clip into place until the flange

is flush with the shield.

NOTE:

If replacing the ECM with new, you MUST connect

to the diagnostic tool software and update the ECM and fuel

injector calibration. Failure to update the new ECM with the

most current calibration and the fuel injector calibration may

cause engine performance issues.

update procedures. See
