EDID
The EDID dip switch allows for EDID learning or to pre-set an EDID to encourage a “handshake” between the
display and source.
To set EDID:
1.
Ensure all source and display components, including Transmitting unit (TX) and Receiving
unit (RX) are powered off and HDMI cables are disconnected from extender unit.
2. Set EDID to position desired
3.
Connect HDMI cables to extender unit (both TX and RX) from source and display
4.
Power the Transmitting unit (TX), followed by the Receiving unit (RX)
5. Power the Source equipment, followed by the display equipment
