Relay features
The flexible multi-stage protection functions make the VAMP
210 ideal for small and medium sized generators. It features
the following protection functions:
•
Three overcurrent stages
•
One overcurrent stage with voltage restraint
•
Under impedance
•
Four non-directional earth-fault stages
•
One directional overvoltage stage
•
Two residual overvoltage stages
•
Thermal overload stage
•
Current unbalance stage
•
Loss of excitation stage
•
Two reverse power stages
•
Two overvoltage stages
•
Two undervoltage stages
•
Two overfrequency stages
•
Two underfrequency stages
•
Circuit breaker failure protection
Further the relay includes a disturbance recorder and is
optionally available with an arc supervision unit. All the
protection stages can be in simultaneous use.
The relay communicates with other systems using common
protocols, such as the ModBus RTU, ModBus TCP, Profibus
DP, IEC 60870-5-103 and it can be connected to a fibre-optic
SPA bus.
