1.2 Adjustments and calibrations
1.2.1 Checking and adjusting the free play of the park brake
The park brake lever is adjusted according to the
position of the lower handle (1) that comes from
the factory with measurement (A) of 37 mm in
relation to the gearbox.

Procedure
1.
Adjust the lower lever (1) by adjusting the nut
(2) securing the hex of the rod (3) with a
wrench until you reach the measurement (A)
of 37 mm.
2.
The ball nut (4) of the cable (6) leans against
the lever and locks with the counter nut (5).
3.
To adjust the slack existing due to wear,
loosen the counter nut (5) of the cable (6)
and tighten the rod (3) securing the nut (2)
until you feel resistance. Torque to 15 Nm
and loosen one and ¾ turn.
4.
Re-lock the cable (6) with counter nut (5)
IMPORTANT:
Adjust the cable
(6)
so that it does not hang the service brake

Procedure
1.
Tighten the rod (1) until you feel resistance.
2.
Apply a torque of 15 Nm.
3.
Tighten one and three-quarter turns.

4.
Repeat the procedure for the other pedal.
