4.4 Programming

Computing formula:

Water volume between 2 regenerations = Cycle capacity / Hardness =[m³] = [T] (ton)

Computing example:

Cycle capacity = 75 for “<aquaPUR> SOFT 25 SIMPLEX softening plant”

(According to chapter “1. Models and technical features”)

Water hardness = 15 ºG

Water volume between 2 regenerations = Cycle capacity / Hardness = 75/15 = 5 [T]

After computing, enter value 05.00 T in menu [REG.CAP]

4.4.1 Button definitions:

Menu

„ ” key

● Press this button to access or exit the menu.

● Press and hold this button to unlock the keys for 5 seconds.

Set/Regen.

„■” key

● Press this key to select a program or to save a setting.

● Press and hold for 3 seconds to access the manual regeneration interface.

Up and down keys “▲”, “▼”

● Press key in order to increase or decrease the value to set.

● Press to advance the menu.

4.4.2 Parameter setup steps:

● Press key „ ” to advance the menu.

● Press key “▲” or “▼” to select a parameter.

● Press key “■” to display the parameter intermittently.

● Press key “▲” or “▼” to change value.

● Press key “■” to save setting.

● Press key “▲” or “▼” to select another parameter.

● Use steps above to switch to another parameter.

● Press key „ ” to exit settings.

Parameters may be changed only when displayed intermittently!

The display returns to the main screen if no key is pressed for 1 minute.

If no key is pressed for 3 minutes, they will lock.

4.4.3 Query function:

Press keys “▲” and “▼” simultaneously in stand-by mode; the screen displays various

information according to the chosen regeneration mode.

● As for regeneration by time, information concerning days remaining until next regeneration

are displayed on the screen.

●As for meter regeneration (immediate, delayed or mixed), volume remaining until

regeneration and total volume used are displayed.

Valve is set to MIXED regeneration mode, regeneration time 2:00 AM and 6 days between

regeneration. User must set water volume between regenerations and current time. User may

also change the language as well as the regeneration time; other settings are to be performed

by authorized personnel.
