Installing Electrical Wiring
This section provides information to install the electric
wiring required for use with your
fi
replace’s lighting and
other options.
All wiring must be done by a quali
fi
ed electrician in
accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local
codes, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70
or the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1.
Electrical Requirements
120 V, 60 Hz, grounded supply, less than 1 amp.
General Requirements
The included V-Module power supply includes a three-
prong grounded plug to plug into a grounded receptacle,
also included with the
fi
replace. The receptacle needs to
be wired up within the
fi
replace enclosure by a quali
fi
ed
electrician.
Installation
1. Locate the electric box at the wall end of the
fi
replace.
2. Remove the cover (4 screws).

3. Open the cover and pull out the 3 wires and terminal
blocks attached to the receptacle inside the box.
4. Punch out the cover knockout you want to pass the
supply wiring through.
5. Install strain relief (not supplied) and pass supply
wiring through. Do not tighten strain relief yet.
