5.8 Fireguard requirements.
A fireguard complying with BS 8423 should be fitted for the protection of young
children, the elderly, the infirm and pet animals.
5.9
An extractor fan may only be used in the same room as this appliance, or in any
area from which ventilation for the appliance is taken, if it does not affect the safe
performance of the appliance. Note the spillage test requirements detailed further on
in this manual. If the fan is likely to affect the appliance, the appliance must not be
installed unless the fan is permanently disconnected.
5.10
Do not place any flammable materials within a distance of the radiation of the
appliance and ventilation grills, refer to figure 2 (page 8) for minimum limits.
5.11
Leveling the stove
- The stove is supplied with four adjustable feet at the base
of the outer casing. If necessary to level the stove turn anti-clockwise each foot
reqired till the stove stands level.
5.12
Securing the stove
- The stove is supplied with a floor fixing bracket pre-fitted
to the rear of the stove casing. In the accessory kit there is provided a wood screw
and wall plug.
To use the fixing bracket remove it from the rear of the stove casing by unscrewing
the fixing screw, keep this screw safe for later reassembly.
Rotate the bracket aound through 180 degrees as shown below. Adjust the height
positions the four stove feet if necessary ensuring the stove is now level. When this is
completed place the bracket into position making a hole in the floor surface to drill
and fit the wall plug.
Fit on the bracket using the screw removed back to the stove body and tighten. With
the bracket resting flat on the floor surface use the wood screw to secure the stove.
