Hearth gates such as Kidco’s are available at retail
stores carrying safety products for children.
Automatic Turn Down
•
No communication.
If there is no transmission from the handset to the receiver within a 6-hour period, the
appliance will go to
STANDBY
(pilot) mode.
•
No change in flame height.
If there is no change in the flame height for a 6-hour period, the appliance will
go to
STANDBY
(pilot) mode. Note: In
TEMP
or
TIMER
modes, the flame height will change according to the
temperature in the room. The appliance will continue to function normally.
Automatic Shut-Off
•
Low batteries in the battery box.
If the power of the batteries for the receiver is low, the appliance will shut off
completely, including the pilot.
•
No change in pilot.
If the appliance is left continuously on
STANDBY
(pilot) mode for 5 days, it will shut off
completely.
Handset / Receiver Match
The remote control handset and receiver are programmed to function together. In case of a replacement of the handset
or the receiver, you will need to reset the receiver to allow them to function together. Contact your dealer for details.
