To minimize fading, locate the
fi replace away
from direct sunlight. Decommissioning and
covering the
fi replace over the off-seeason
will also prolong the fi nish.

Owner’s Information
Automatic Shut-Off (in certain
conditions)
Your fi replace’s control is equipped with an automatic
shut-off mechanism.
Low batteries in the receiver. With low battery power
in the receiver the system shuts off completely.
No change in fl ame height. Your fi replace will turn
down to pilot if there is no change in fl ame height for a
period of 6 hours.
No change in pilot. The pilot shuts off completely if it’s
been continually on without any change for a period of
5 days.
Decommission During Off-Season
We recommend decommissioning your outdoor
fi replace during the off-season when it will not be used
for an extented period. Decommission your fi replace
by removing the batteries from the receiver and turning
the gas shut-off valve to the “off” position.
Upon ensuring the
fi replace cannot be turned on you
can then apply a protective cover over the front of the
fi replace to help preserve the fi nish and further protect
the appliance from weather.
Note: Do not operate your outdoor fi replace
during cold weather below freezing point
(32°F, 0°C).
