CONTROL VOLTAGE LOAD RESISTOR

The fitting of a Load Resistor to the system is required to balance the Voltage
Control Line so that communication is received by the appropriate station(s).

Although a Load resistor is provided with each Room Station Only

One

Load

Resistor is required for an entire system.

The Load Resistor should be fitted at the Master Station across the
“Yellow - Voltage Control” terminal and the “Shields - 0V terminal”.

In systems where a Master Station has not been installed, the Load Resistor
should be fitted at the Room station where the power supply has been connected,
across the VLC (YEL) terminal and the Neg (BLK) terminal.

If the master should ever be removed for servicing, attaching a wire between
