Before first use
Intended use
• Unpack the unit. Remove all packaging materials from the unit.
• Check that the unit is complete and in a good condition. If the unit is damaged or
malfunctions, do not use it and return it to your store of purchase or the after-sales service.
• Before using the unit for the first time, steam iron an old rag for approx.
10 minutes
to
remove any manufacturing residue remaining in the tank.
NOTE:
When using the unit for the first time, you may notice a slight odour or
unusual sounds; it occurs when the plastic in the brand-new unit expands. This
is normal and will eventually fade with use.
RISK OF SUFFOCATION!
To avoid the risk of suffocation, keep all packaging materials out of the reach of
babies and children in general.
• Do not use this unit for any purpose other than ironing, as described in this usage manual.
Do not use the unit for any purpose other than that for which it has been designed. Any
other use may damage the unit or result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
• Any other use is to be considered inappropriate and therefore dangerous.
