3.2 Installing Vaisala Serial Wind Transmitter

WAC155

1. Remove the four screws holding the cover of the transmitter and remove the cover.

2. Select the RS-485 termination. 

See 

Service Connector and Jumper Settings (page 13)

.

If the data line is shorter than 500 m (547 yd) or if the data rate is slower
than 9600 baud, the RS-485 terminator is not normally needed.

3. For marine applications, remove the grounding screw.
