6.2.3 Stair bolt mounting kit

Caution!
Roof anchor type S and roof anchor type S flat
(for beaver tail)
Before installation check the load-bearing ca-
pacity of the wooden substructure!
Reinforce the wooden substructure if neces-
sary.

1. Bore a hole in the pantiles in the corresponding posi-
tion. For distances please see Tab. 6.2 and 6.3.
2. Tighten the stair bolt to the rafters through the pan-
tile.
3. Screw the lower nut against the pantiles, and tighten
it until the seal sufficiently seals the opening.
4. Position the central nut so that after inserting the an-
chor upper part the front contact area is on the roof-
ing. Pay attention to the correct position of the upper
and lower roof anchor (see Fig. 6.3).
5. Screw the second nut and tighten it (SW 17).
6. Detach the threaded bolt directly above the nut.
Deburr the interface.

• Fix the horizontal mounting rails with the
frame clamping elements on the roof an-
chors.

For the vertical spacing between the
roof anchors please see Tab. 6.2 and
6.3.

For a better visual appearance, posi-
tion the lower rail as low as possible
on the roof anchor.
