Explosive and easily inflammable materials
Do not use nor store any explosive or easily inflammable
materials (e. g. gasoline, paints) in the installation room.
Inspection/maintenance
For a continued efficient and safe operation as well as a
long service life, your appliance should be serviced regu-
larly (we recommend at least once a year). Please charge
your authorized installer with this job. We recommend to
conclude a maintenance agreement with your qualified
fitter.
2.2 Precautions
Avoid scaldings!
The water flowing out of the taps may be very
hot. Please remember as well that the burner
cover may be very hot. Therefore keep young
children away from the fittings and the cylinder.
Purge
Never close nor obstruct the drain line of the safety
group. When heating up the appliance, hot water may
flow out of the purge line.
Appliance failures
In case of failures/defects on your hot water cylinder VGH,
immediately shut off the appliance and contact your
qualified fitter. Never intervene yourself on the appliance.
Leakages
In the case of leakage in the hot water pipe area between
the appliance and the taps, please close immediately the
cold water shut-off valves at the appliance and have the
leakage eliminated by your authorized installer.
Protection against corrosion
Do not use any sprays, solvents, chloric detergents,
paints, adhesives etc. in the ambience of the appliance.
Under unfavourable conditions these materials can lead
to corrosion - even in the flue gas system.
Frost protection
In case of frost danger in the installation room, the
