Important information
DANGER!
Danger due to fatal electric shocks when working at energized lines
Fatal or severe injuries
►
The contacts of the wire connections (mains and motors) X1, X2, X3, X
n
can carry
life threatening voltages if the control system is connected to the mains. Therefore,
disconnect the control system from the voltage before you perform any work at it.
►
All control terminals are only insulated on a basic level (single insulating distance)
after the connection of a posistor (PTC) or a thermal switch (opener). In case of a
defective insulating distance, the contact safety is guaranteed through external
measures, e.g. dual insulation
►
The control system must be grounded through X1!
NOTICE!
Danger of damaging the external data storage in case of wrong handling
Destruction and malfunction of the external data storage
►
Hard mechanical stresses (shocks, hits, bending) can damage the data storage.
►
During transport, storage and installation, the external data storage must always
be disconnected from the vehicle control system. Connect the external data stor
-
age only shortly before commissioning.
TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS!
Information about the EMERGENCY STOP device
Adherence to the requirements of an EMERGENCY STOP device is required during the
electrical installation.
This must be planned and executed by the plant manufacturer.
The operating company must frequently check the function of the EMERGENCY STOP
device.
Adherence to the valid standards, regulations, etc., in their then valid, current version
is required.
CAUTION!
Danger due hot surfaces at the controller.
Light injuries
►
It must be noted that the heat sink and brake resistor become hot during opera
-
tion. Be sure to let the components cool down before performing any work on
them.
