connector into the charging port on the back of the charging base. Then insert the charging
plug into a suitable power supply (Fig. 11).
5) The battery charging indicator light will show the progress during charging. Whilst the battery
pack is being charged, the charging indicator will flash blue. Once fully charged, the battery
charging indicator will become a continuous blue light.
6) When fully charged, remove the battery pack from the charging base.
2. Using Your Vacuum Cleaner
1) Before using, determine the type of flooring you will be vacuuming.
•
Use the multi-floor brush head for all floor and rug types (Fig. 12).
•
Use the specialized hard floor nozzle for advanced cleaning on hard floor surfaces such as
wood and titles (Fig. 13) (Only for VSC2502EU).
NOTE
: There is a dirt sensor indicator (
①
) located on the multi-floor brush head. When the floor
head is in use, the dirt sensor indicator will start a blue light to show that dirt is being vacuumed.
When the dirt sensor indicator turns off, the sensor is not seeing enough dirt to warrant further
cleaning of that area. As long as the indicator is on, dirt is passing across the sensor to indicate
that the surface still requires cleaning (Fig. 14).
2) To start the vacuum cleaner, slide the power switch to the desired power level (Low or High).
3) Use the low-speed setting for cleaning of hard floors, and low pile rugs, or when an increased
run time is needed. The high-speed setting should be used for cleaning plush rugs and carpets
or when additional cleaning power is required.
4) To stop the vacuum, slide the power switch to the OFF position.
5) The battery power level indicators give you an idea of how much battery power remains at any
given time.
