4 Operation
4.1 Switching the appliance on
▸ Plug in the appliance at the mains.
– The status lights come on for 10 seconds.
▸ Depress the button for 3 seconds.
– The appliance is switched on.
A newly operational appliance filled with wine bottles requires approx. 24 hours un-
til it reaches the operating temperature set.
4.2 Setting the temperature
The temperature can be set between 5 °C and 18 °C.
▸ Depress one of the two
buttons for 3 seconds.
– The corresponding preset temperature flashes in the temperature display.
▸ Press the necessary button repeatedly until the desired temperature flashes.
– If no further settings are made after 5 seconds, the temperature display stops flash-
ing and the preset temperature is adopted.
– The temperature set is only reached after a couple of hours.
If the door is kept open for a prolonged period or when filling with warm bottles,
the effective temperature may differ temporarily from the preset temperature.
The temperature set in the lower chilling section must be the same as or higher
than that in the upper section. If the appliance is operated without a separating
tray, the temperature settings must of both chilling sections must be identical.
