6.1
Rapid cooling
The rapid cooling function
allows you to cool large quantities of food more
quickly, e.g. after a shopping trip. The function lowers the target temperature
of the cooling compartment to the coldest target temperature (2 °C) for
24 hours.
During the rapid cooling process, the compressor operates at a higher cooling
output, which increases the noise level to a level that is above the normal op-
erating noise. The compressor output is increased until the cooling compart-
ment temperature reaches the target temperature or the maximum time period
has elapsed. The target temperature for the cooling compartment is reset to
the previously set target temperature after 24 hours.
Immediately prior to putting warm goods in the refrigerator, switch on
to prevent food that is already in the refrigerator from warming up.
6.2
Sabbath mode
In Sabbath mode, the lighting and displays are switched off for 28 hours.
