Accessing SMS Text Messages (Inbox)
To read an SMS Text message:

When you receive a text message, it will automatically
appear on your phone's main display screen. Use your
navigation key to scroll down and view the entire
message.
To reply to an SMS Text message:
1.
While the message is open, select
Reply
(
).
Press
Options
(
) to choose from the following:

Call
to place a call to a received message number.
䡲
Forward
to forward a text message.
䡲
Lock/Unlock
to lock or unlock a text message.
䡲
Save #
to save the phone number which is stored in the
recent received message list.
䡲
Save Email
to save the email address which is stored in
the recent received message list.
䡲
Erase
to erase a message.
䡲
Erase All
to erase all messages.

Compose your reply or use the preset messages or icons.

To type a message, use your keypad to enter your
message. Use the right softkey to select a character
input mode. (See “Entering Text” on page 29.)

To use a preset message or a smiley, press the right
softkey, select
Emoticon
or
Preset Msg.
, highlight
your desired message or emoticon, and press
.

Review your message and press
Send
(
). (You may
also select additional messaging options by pressing
Options

] to save the text message to draft folder.)
