Sending a message
The UDI-
14™ unit can sent one of the 14 user
-preset text messages to other UDI-
14™ users and to the
boat unit.
To send a text message
:
1.
In the
Messages
menu, select
New Message
, then click
Enter
.

In the Message list, choose a
message by scrolling with the
Up/Down
buttons.
Click
Enter

The message is
sent. You are automatically
returned to the
Main
menu.

Viewing last message
1.
In the Messages menu, select
Last Msg Rcv
,

Click
Enter
. The last message
received is shown, and
identifies the sender and
network used.

Use the
Up/Down
buttons to
scroll the last five messages
received.
