PROBLEM

SOLUTION

The Blue Evolution powers ON 

after plugging into the electrical 

outlet and then turns OFF 

This is normal:

Push the ON/OFF Button on the console to power ON the Blue 
Evolution

Does not turn power up when the 

ON button is pushed:

The Blue Evolution should be the ONLY appliance plugged into the 
electrical outlet:   

Ø

Check the fuse box for tripped circuit breaker

Ø

Extension Cord 

must meet the following requirements:

v

12 gauge / 15AMP minimum rating

v

25 ft. max length

Alarm is activated

during warm-up

The Blue Evolution has pumped all the water from the reservoir tanks into 
the boiler:

Ø

Refill the steam reservoir tank

Ø

Push the ON/OFF button on the console to restart the pump

Alarm is activated

during use

The Blue Evolution is out of water:

Ø

Refill tanks 

Ø

Push the ON/OFF button to reset the Blue Evolution

No vacuum suction

alarm will activate

The collection tank is dirty or full of water:

Empty and clean 

Ø

Refill with water to the green fill line

No Vacuum Suction

Check hose for foreign objects or dirt

Collection tank lid is attached correctly and

Attach the lid to the tank before installing

Lid must sit flush on the collection tank and in the locked into

Check and replace the filter as needed

Is the temperature on the console ≥330

Troubleshooting

Empty the filter bowl and refill with 
tap water up to the Max. fill level.

Fluff, fibres or hair in the filter bowl Empty the filter bowl, clean out the 

hair and fluff and refill with tap water 
up to the Max. fill level

Foam in the filter bowl

Empty the filter bowl and refill with 
tap water up to the Max. fill level.

Tip: To minimise foam build-up, add 
3 drops of non-acidic oil (e.g.: sew-
ing machine or light vegetable oil) to 
the filter bowl

There  is  little  or  no  steam  and  no 
hot water

Limescale in hot water modul

Perform “Hot water descaling”

Steam very wet
