Remove the top cap, the pen and the spring. Replace the pen and/or spring as necessary. Slide the spring 
onto the pen from the top and insert it back into the pen carriage.  

 

Replace the carriage cap and screw into place. 

 

 

 

 

Once you are familiar with the cutter and its basic functions, install the blade carriage (
