3.5.3 FILE BACKUP
There are three backup modes for saving the DVR recordings to file. The first is based on the date and time search and
can be accessed by pressing the “Backup” button to left of the Search button. In this case, the recordings found in
selected time range are saved. The second mode consists in cutting a portion of the video file which is being played and
the third can be used to select only the required recordings from the list. To access, press the “Backup” button on the
lower part of the page next to the Cancel button.
In all cases, select the type of file to be saved and the respective destination, which must be one of the USB flash drives
connected to the DVR.
3.5.3.1 File backup according to time
The recording files can be backed up according to time. Proceed as follows:
1. Enter the start and end time in the time editing box.
2. Click on the [Search ] button.
3. Tick all files to be backed up.
4. Click on the [Backup] button.
3.5.3.2 File backup according to video search
In the image below, press [Search] to start searching from the video recordings available on the HDD by filters
(channel, type, date).
Note: the date and channel cell marked with the amber triangle shows that recordings are present.
Press [Playback] to start playing the video recording.
During video playback, move the cursor on the time axis in the point corresponding to the beginning of the video sequence
to be cut, press the [ ] button and then move the slider on the time axis to the point corresponding to the end of the
video sequence to be cut. Press [ ] to open the window shown in the image above, select the video file format at press
[Save].
Note: Video files can be saved in [H.264] format only for backing up to CD / DVD.
