INTRODUCTION
The INSTALLATION MANUAL of the GIGAS terminal gives a detailed account
of the main parts of the terminal, how the device is supposed to be operated and
maintained.

GENERAL SECURITY
This terminal must be used with the adapter supplied. The use of another adapter
other than the one supplied will not guarantee functionality of this product. Using
any other adapter other than the one supplied can also damage this product and create
possible electrical harm.
GIGAS TERMINAL
The GIGAS PSTN terminal specialized in connecting via switched telephone line,
belong to the Gigas family of Urmet's new electronic payment terminals
characterized by modular design. All of the EFT/POS functions are conveniently
included in these terminal models, including the PIN-PAD for their simple and
comfortable use.
In spite of its small dimensions, the GIGAS terminal contains a printer as well as its
relative slot paper which is easy to access and use. The slot paper is a standard size
roll (50 mm in diameter). Furthermore the printer permits replacing the paper easily.
The graphic display is easy to read and the keypad allows comfortable use, both
equipped with backlighting which increases the ergonomical use of the terminal.
