● When the unit is powered on or the vehicle is started up, you will hear a voice message, “Hi,
this is UREC” and “Constant recording on.” This indicates the product is starting to record.
● A few moments after the unit is powered off or the engine is turned off, you will hear “Video
recording off” followed by “System is shutting down,” after which the product will turn off.
2.3 Safe Mode
● If UREC has prolonged exposure to high temperatures, it will automatically enter ‘safe mode’
to prevent overheating. Once surrounding temperatures are decreased, UREC will return to
normal operating mode.
2.4 Constant Mode
(Normal Recording)
● Normal recording begins with the introduction, “Constant recording on.” Video captures from
the Constant Recording mode are available in the “NORMAL” folder of the MicroSD Card root
directory.
● Constant recording video capture files are saved in the following format:
Video files in this mode are recorded and playable in 1-minute interval (Recording time may be shortened
when the Event Recording mode overrides).
