Main Boom
Use the following procedure to manually lower the main
boom.
1. Slowly turn the knob to open the bleed down valve on
the main boom lift cylinder (refer to Figure 6). Control
the rate of descent by turning the knob.

Warning
The potential for an accident increases when safety
devices do not function properly. Death or serious
injury can result from such accidents. Fully close
the emergency lowering knob before operating the
aerial platform.
2. Turn the knob to close the cylinder bleed down
valve.
After Use Each Day
1. Ensure that the platform is fully lowered.
2. Park the machine on a firm level surface, preferably
under cover, secure against vandals, children and
unauthorized operation.
3. Turn the Chassis Key Switch to OFF and remove the
key to prevent unauthorized operation.
