Rotational Sensor Mounting Instructions

UM520 Auto-Log Scale (Optional) — Double-Auger Grain Cart

For Serial Number B34930099 and Lower

Park the empty unit on a firm, level surface. Block the wheels on the machine to keep it from

moving. Set the vehicle parking brake, shut off the engine and remove the ignition key from the

towing vehicle.

1. Remove driveline from end of gearbox input

shaft. (Refer to MAINTENANCE section of this

manual for instructions.) Remove belt cover

from front of J-Block. Remove the hex nuts

and lock washers attached to the bottom two

bolts  mounting  the  input  shaft  flange  bearing
to  the  J-Block.  Replace  the  bottom  two  bolts
with  the  longer  bolts  (9390-495)  included  in
the  hardware  kit.  Attach  the  sensor  mounting
bracket  (281894B)  to  the  bolt  on  the  right  as
shown  in  FIG  2-33A.    Do  not  tighten  the  bolts
down  at  this  time.  Secure  bolt  reusing  the
existing  lock  washers  and  hex  nuts  removed.

2. Assemble the stainless steel hose clamp

(900571) over the shaft. Do not fully tighten

the hose clamp at this time.
