use only for crushing pieces of ice! do not use for chopping food.
do not use ice cubes made of fruit juice, since they contain fruit acid. Fruit acid gums up the
grinder and can damage the appliance.
caution: Never reach into the filling shaft or insert objects into the filling shaft -
danger of injury!
Clean all parts before using for the first time.

Connect the appliance via the power cord to

the power supply (AC, 130 V, 50 Hz).
Turn on the appliance by means of the On/Off

switch (set switch to I position).
Important:
First turn on the ice crusher, then
add the ice cubes.
Remove the transparent lid that closes the
4.
filling shaft.
Put ice cubes into the filling shaft. If the filling
5.
flap does not automatically open from the
weight of the ice cubes, you can carefully press
the flap downward until the ice cubes fall into
the filling shaft.
caution:
Do not overfill! The safety flap has to
close automatically!
The transparent ice container catches the

crushed ice.
If you wish to crush a larger amount of ice,

turn the appliance off (set switch to 0 position),
remove and empty the ice container, then
replace it and continue with step no. 3.
To protect the motor from overheating, the

appliance must be switched off for about
30 minutes after 4 minutes of operation.
Before cleaning, always turn off the
1.
appliance and unplug it from the power
supply.
Do not immerse the appliance and power cord
2.
in water or other liquids.
Wipe off the ice crusher with a damp cloth.

You can clean the ice container and the lid
with warm dishwater; however, they are not
dishwasher-safe. Do not use any abrasive
scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects, hot
cleaning agents or disinfectants.
If the grinder needs to be cleaned, you can use
4.
a conventional bottle brush.
Moisten the bottle brush with warm dishwater,
5.
press the safety flap of the ice crusher
downward and carefully move the brush back
and forth in the filling shaft. Afterwards, rinse
the bottle brush with clear water and repeat
the above step.
Please exercise caution so that you are
not injured by the grinder!
The appliance and power plug must be

completely dry before the appliance can be
operated again.
When completely dry, store the ice crusher in a

dry, safe place so that it is protected from dust,
shocks, heat and moisture.
If ice cubes block the grinder
turn off the appliance and unplug it from

the power supply.
Remove the ice container, turn appliance upside
2.
down over a sink or a suitable bowl and hold
the protective flap open with your hand. Empty
the ice crusher, shaking it to loosen the ice.
Make sure that no water runs into the base
3.
of the appliance and that the appliance is dry
before you connect it to the power supply and
operate it again.
