Q. Does the One Series have a floating ground?

A. 

The power supply circuit, IAW™ and switched outputs, and the 4-20mA output are all tied to

a common ground. This ground is not tied directly to earth (or the chassis/enclosure) ground.

The earth ground connection is made through a separate (green wire) connection.

Q. If the power is interrupted to the One Series, what 

is the state of the output during the power failure?

A.

When there is no power applied to a One Series, the switch output is open (normally open).
