Chapter 4. HARDWARE OVERVIEW
4.1 INTRODUCTION
The PT630 is a handheld data terminal that has an integrated laser-scanning module or clip-on
pen module for bar code reading. A rechargeable Li-ion battery pack power the PT630. A
lithium backup battery preserves data stored in the RAM when the power main battery is used up
or during the replacement of the main battery.
