If the charger is not connected to a power supply, it can be used as a battery testing
device. You can then check the condition of the battery. the integrated voltage test
device has 3 LeDs that indicate the following:
• red:
<12.3 V (battery needs charging)
• orange:
between 12.3 V and 12.6 V (medium charge)
• green:
>12.6 V (battery is charged)
• Top position: Gentle charging
• Bottom position: Rapid charging
the charging current can be selected before the charging process.
At a lower charging current, the battery is charged more slowly and more gently.
At higher charging currents, the charging duration is reduced but the battery is charged
less gently.
Only connect the charger to the socket when the charging terminals are correctly
connected.

already been charged, then the battery is sulphated. the battery needs replacing.
• The charging terminals of the battery charger are insulated and there is no voltage
present as long as the battery charger is not connected.
