Loosen nut caps of gas and liquid service valves ( ⑤ , ⑥ ) and
service port cap of gas service valve ( ⑦ ).
Connect low pressure hose of manifold gauge ( ③ ) to service
port of gas service valve.
Low pressure hose valve of manifold gauge (

) must be
closed.
Completely close liquid service valve by rotating it in
clockwise direction with a hexagonal wrench.
When low pressure of manifold gauge drops to 0kgf/cm2,
completely close gas service valve by rotating it in clockwise
direction with a hexagonal wrench.
Immediately stop the operation of air conditioner. (Refrigerant
is not being circulated. Therefore breakdown of compressor
may occur if air conditioner is not stopped immediately.)
Disconnect manifold gauge and reassemble nut caps and
port caps (to prevent refrigerant leakage).
