TECHNICAL DATA

The term "unit" or "product" in the warnings and in the 

description of the instructions refers to the TELESCOPE.

a) 

Maintain an orderly work area. 

b) 

If you have any doubts as to whether the unit is 

working properly or if it is damaged, contact the 

manufacturer's service department.

c) 

Only the manufacturer's service department may 

repair the unit. Do not carry out repairs yourself!

d) 

In case of open flames or fire, use only dry powder 

or snow (CO2) fire extinguishers to extinguish the 

live equipment.

e) 

Check the condition of the safety stickers 

regularly. Replace them if they are illegible. 

f) 

Keep these instructions for use for future 

reference. If the unit is to be passed on to a third 

party, the operating instructions must also be 

handed over together with the unit.

g) 

Keep the packaging and small assembly parts out 

of the reach of children.

h) 

Keep the unit away from children and animals.

i) 

When using this unit together with other units, 

also follow the other instructions for use.

j) 

The unit is not a toy. Children should be watched 

to ensure that they do not play with the unit.

k) 

Keep unused equipment out of the reach of 

children and out of the reach of anyone unfamiliar 

with the unit or this instruction manual. These 

units is dangerous in the hands of inexperienced 

users.

Keep the unit in good working condition. 

m)  Keep the unit out of the reach of children.

Repairs and maintenance should be carried out 

by  qualified  personnel  using  only  original  spare 

parts. This will ensure the safety of use.

o) 

To ensure the designed operational integrity of 

the unit, do not remove factory-installed covers or 

loosen screws.

p) 

Clean the unit regularly to prevent permanent dirt 

build-up.

q) 

The unit is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance 

must not be performed by children without adult 

supervision. 

r) 

Do not tamper with the unit to alter its 

performance or design.

s) 

Keep the unit away from sources of fire and heat.

t) 

Looking directly or through the lens at the light 

source is prohibited. Doing so may result in 

damage to the eyesight and may cause epilepsy. 

u) 

Do not leave the magnifying lens unattended in 

direct sunlight since this may cause a fire hazard. 

Be  sure  to  close  the  lens  cover  when  finished 

working. 

v) 

Do not point the light beam of the lens towards 

people or animals. This may cause burns. 

w) 

Do not use the product in a shaky environment to 

avoid damage to the eyes.

x) 

Do not observe objects behind a window with the 

scope. The glass causes reflection and distorts the 

image, and if the window is open, air currents of 

different temperatures will also cause distortion.

y) 

Avoid touching the eyepieces, the lens or the 

scope itself. Vibrations caused by touching can 

shift the image.

1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The user manual is designed to assist in the safe and 

trouble-free use of the device. The product is designed

When using a spotting scope at night, allow several 

minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness 

before observing. It is also recommended that 

you use a flashlight with a red light filter during 

any activity.

3.2. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION 

POSITIONING OF THE UNIT

The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and 

ambient humidity should not exceed 85%. Place the unit 

in a way that ensures good air circulation. Keep the unit 

away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the unit 

on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and

3.1. DESCRIPTION

device and its protective features, and despite 

the use of additional elements protecting the 

operator, there is still a slight risk of accident or 

injury when using the device. Stay alert and use 

common sense when using the device.

Before first use, wipe the lens and eyeglasses that may 

have become dusty beforehand with a dry, soft cloth.

ASSEMBLY OF THE UNIT

1. 

Insert the 3 ends of the tripod into the holes in 

the mounting plate respectively. Insert the wing 

screws through the holes in the legs and tighten 

them to secure the position of the legs.

2.  Insert the pin protruding from the circular 

parallactic head plate into the center hole of the 

tripod mounting plate.

3. 

Unfold the tripod.

4. 

On the middle side of the legs, there are supports 

[3] which need to be unfolded. Screw the 

accessory tray [1] to them using wing screws.

5.  Adjust the height of the tripod using the 

extendable extensions [30] in each leg. Secure the 

setting with wing screws.

6.  Slide the counterweight [18] onto the 

counterweight shaft [17]. Secure with 

counterweight clamp [20].

7. 

Insert the counterweight shaft into the hole in the 

declination axis [21].

8. 

Put the [27] and [28] correction and declination 

knobs on the parallactic head shafts.

9. 

Loosen the latitude adjustment clamp [24] and tilt 

the polar axis [15] 45°.

10.  Mount the support for the main tube on top of the 

parallactic head. Remove the two thumb screws 

from the horn [11], place the horn on the bracket 

by aligning the holes in the bracket with the holes 

in the horn, put the thumb screws through the 

holes and tighten them. 

11.  Insert the telescope mount [8] into the bracket on 

the main tube [7].

12.  Insert the prism cup [5] into the focuser tube [25] 

and then insert the eyepiece [6] into the prism 

cup [5]. Secure with the screw.

3.3. WORKING WITH THE UNIT 

3.3.1. BALANCING THE TELESCOPE:

1. 

Loosen the rectascension clamp [14], allowing the 

parallactic head to move freely about the polar 

axis [15].

2. 

Set the counterweight shaft [17] vertically to the 

surface on which the telescope is mounted.

3. 

Loosen the counterweight clamp [20].

4. 

Slide the counterweight [18] over the shaft [17] 

until the telescope tube is parallel to the surface.

5.  Tighten the counterweight clamp and the 

rectascension clamp.

3.3.2. USE

1.  Position the telescope outdoors on a stable 

surface.

2. 

Wait 30 minutes for the scope to adjust to the 

prevailing temperature.

3. 

The object of observation should be away from 

glaring lights at least 200 meters away from the 

observation point.

4. 

Remove the dust dome [33] from the lens.
