The contrast can be set to a value between
-15 and +15. You will see the contrast change
when adjusting the value.
BACKLIGHT BRIGHTNESS
The intensity of the display’s backlight can be
changed from 0% (off) to 100%. The backlight
use a lot of power when turned on, so please
use as low a setting as possible. When the
Laptimer is out in the sun, the backlight is not
visible at all and it can even make the contrast
worse.
BACKLIGHT OFF TIME
To save battery power, the backlight can
automatically be turned off. If the Laptimer is
not active in run mode, and the buttons are
not pushed, the backlight will turn off after
some time. This time and be set between 0:30
and 30:00 minutes and always on.
If the backlight is automatically turned off, the
Laptimer still reacts to button pushes, but the
backlight is turned on at the same time.
AUTO TURN OFF TIME
When no buttons are pressed and the Laptimer
is not detecting any signals from RPM, speed
and the trigger it will automatically power
off to save the battery. This time can be set
between “always on” and 30 minutes in steps
of 30 seconds. If set to “always on” it will
never turn off.
SET TIME
The time and date is normally set automatically
by the GPS signal. Each time UniGo gets a GPS
lock, it will adjust the time and date to the
very precise time received by the GPS receiver.
When there is no GPS signal, the internal
clock will continue to run, even when UniGo
is turned off. But if you want to manually set
the time, this can be done from this collapsed
menu.
Hour:
Enter the hour of the day.
12-hour clock:
If the time format is set to a
12h clock, then you can chose between am
and pm here.
Minutes:
Enter the minutes of the hour.
Time format:
Select either 12h (am/pm) or
24h clock here.
GPS UTC correction:
The time received
from the GPS receiver is always the UTC time
(coordinated universal time). To make this
fit your local time, please adjust this setting.
This setting is also used to correct the time for
summer or winter time.
Store new time:
Change this to ”Yes” and
hit the
ok
button ( ). Then the time will be
updated with the new values you entered.

updated with the new values you entered.
