Deactivating variable forwarding
You can deactivate all variable forwarding types in the Service Menu (Basic Ser-
vice).

Call the system menu.

Select and confirm the basic setting.

Select the menu item and confirm.

Confirm. The display shows "variable forwarding".

Confirm. The display shows "fixed forwarding".

Confirm. The display shows "Forwarding for internal".

Select the menu item and confirm. Variable forwarding is deactivated and the
forwarding destination is deleted.
To select a different variable forwarding type, proceed as described on
Page 53
Checking forwarding
To check up on the status of the forwarding types, proceed as described on
Page 53. The forwarding destination is shown in the second line if this vari-
able forwarding type is activated.
Activating and deactivating forwarding by means of a switch
If a forwarding destination has been programmed for fixed forwarding, you can
use the switch to activate and deactivate the forwarding facility. If variable for-
warding is activated, it can only be deactivated with the switch.
