UNIDEN XTRAK

UHF CB Transceiver

Call Tone

Use the Call Tone function to transmit a three second ‘wake-up’ ringing tone. The 

XTRAK is equipped with 10 selectable call tones that can be set in the MENU (08 Call 

Tone).

Setting the Call Tone

1. Press 

[MENU]

 and then press 

[UP / DOWN] 

key until 

08 Call Tone 

is highlighted.

2. Press 

[MENU] 

to select.

3. Press 

[UP / DOWN]

 to change the selection. The call tone chime will sound  

  whenever the selection is changed.
4. Press and hold 

[MENU]

 to save & exit from the menu mode.

To use Call Tone

When a SMART key is set to CAL; 
1. Press that SMART key to tramnsmit the call tone. 

  

NOTE

• Current regulations require calling tones to be restricted to one 

transmission per minute. If a second transmission is attempted within 

one minute then an error tone will sound.
